We offer a net, 30 day / monthly account, subject to approval..
Due to our trade insurance, we have procedures to which we must adhere in order to maintain the validity of our policy. These are as follows:
1. Accounts overdue by 30-44 days will be put on 'Hold'.
2. Accounts overdue by 45 days or more will be passed for legal action. We will not accept responsibility for potential delays caused by this action being taken.
3. We understand and will exercise our statutory right to claim interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act, if we are not paid according to our credit terms.
4. All works will be carried out in accordance with the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996, with the exception that in the event that the Employer or Main Contractor becomes insolvent as defined in Section 113(2) or Part II of the Housing Grants, Construction Act 1996 our account must be paid in full together with any retention due.
5. All transactions will be carried out in Pounds Sterling (GBP).
6. Your available credit limit (and the Main Contractors) will be set by our insurers. Should either credit limit be reached, no further works will be processed until the account balance, whether due or not, is reduced to a sufficient level to enable us to satisfy your outstanding requirements.
7. We are unable to accept pay-when-paid and pay-when-certified clauses.
8. Our invoices/applications will not be subject to Main Contractors Discount.
9. Any disputes or reasons for delaying payment should be notified in writing within 7 days of receipt of our invoice or application for payment.
10. We make no allowance within our prices for protecting our works. Rectification of any damage to our installation would be priced as a variation to the contract, and only executed upon receipt of written instructions.
11. Please ensure that all drawing updates, contract instructions, together with programmes are sent.
12. Cash accounts can be settled by company cheque, subject to clearance of funds, or by credit card via Paypal.
